You do not need much to file a Cambodia e-Arrival Card, but you do need it all in front of you, and it all has to match. Here is the complete checklist of documents and information, including the two fields added in 2026.

You need your passport, the details of the flight that lands in Cambodia, your departure date from Cambodia and next destination, and the name and city of where you are staying. You also answer a short health and customs declaration. Every identity detail must match your passport exactly, and you need internet access to submit.
The Cambodia e-Arrival Card is not a demanding form. It does not ask for bank statements, invitation letters or proof of funds. What it asks for is accuracy: a small set of details about who you are and how you are travelling, each of which has to match your documents. The requirement is less about what you have and more about having it all in front of you when you start.
Your passport provides your full name, passport number, nationality, date of birth, sex and passport expiry date. Copy each one from the passport’s photo page rather than typing from memory. Most of the mistakes that cause trouble at the immigration desk start with a name or number typed the way the traveller thinks of it, rather than the way it is printed.
Travellers report that the form may also ask for a recent photo of your face. If it does, a clear, well-lit phone photo showing just your face, cropped close, is what to have ready.
Check your passport’s validity before you go. Cambodia’s visa rules expect a passport valid for at least 6 months from your arrival date, with blank pages. The e-Arrival Card will not flag an expiring passport for you.
The form wants the flight that actually arrives in Cambodia: the final leg of your journey. If you are flying Sydney to Singapore to Phnom Penh, that is the Singapore to Phnom Penh flight. Use the flight number shown on your booking for that leg, and the date it lands.
The e-Arrival Card now also asks for the date you plan to leave Cambodia and where you are going next. If you have a return flight home, that is your departure date and your home country is your next destination. If you are continuing to Vietnam, Thailand or elsewhere, enter that country. Have your onward or return booking open before you start. If you file with us and have not booked your onward travel yet, you can tick “not booked yet”, and we will email you to add the details.
Give the name and city of your accommodation: a hotel, guesthouse or the address of the friend or family member you are staying with. If you are moving around, use where you are staying on your first night.
Because the e-Arrival Card replaced Cambodia’s paper health form and customs declaration as well as the immigration card, it includes both. The health section asks a few short questions about your health and recent travel. The customs section lets you declare any goods or currency you are required to declare, so that there is no separate customs form after baggage reclaim.
Answer both honestly and for yourself. When filing for children, answer for the child. If you are unsure whether something you are carrying needs declaring, check Cambodia’s customs rules before you fly rather than guessing on the form.
It helps to know what the e-Arrival Card does not ask for, so that you do not waste time gathering it.
The e-Arrival Card is also not a substitute for a visa. If your nationality needs a visa for Cambodia, that is a separate requirement with its own documents, handled before the e-Arrival Card.
Check your nationality with the eligibility checker. If you need a visa, you can apply for the Cambodia eVisa online: Tourist $80 USD or Business $90 USD, approved in 3–5 days.
If you would rather hand the job over, we need the same information in a simpler form. You upload a clear photo of your passport’s photo page, and give us your flight, travel dates, next destination and accommodation. We check every detail you give us against the passport image before we file, so a name or number typed from memory does not reach Immigration.
You can get your e-Arrival Card through us at any time: if you book more than a week before you land, we hold your details and file the moment your 7-day window opens, then email you the QR code.
Got everything on this checklist? You can file your e-Arrival Card now and have the QR code by email.

Whether you need a Cambodia e-Arrival Card (and a Cambodia eVisa) during a layover at Techo International Airport (KTI) or Siem Reap (SAI) depends on one question: will you cross the immigration line? Here is the exact 2026 rulebook for airside transfers, separate tickets, and domestic hops.
Cambodia’s border rules changed significantly heading into 2026: Phnom Penh opened Techo International Airport (KTI), paper stamps were replaced by the digital V-Pass, and all Thailand–Cambodia land borders remain closed. Here is the complete 2026 entry checklist for Canadian travellers.
